Kenneth Matheson was president of the Drexel Institute of Art, Science, and Industry from 1922 to 1931. He was born in Cheraw, South Carolina, in 1864 and educated at the South Carolina Military Academy (better known as the Citadel), Leland Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and Columbia University.
